Our first episode on the new series, Our 2 Cents on iFAST TV touched on the question of whether young adults should choose money or passion. I suppose this is a question that many millennials find themselves asking after working for a few years after graduation.
Personally, I would prioritize learning experiences in the domain that I enjoy doing. This means to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in subjects that I am interested in. I believe I can learn better by doing what I enjoy. As long as I can have a reasonable standard of living, I will look to pursue passion which eventually in itself can help to unlock other financial opportunities as well.
You can catch the first episode here.
